I bought this device to deal with a problem when staying in hotels where the 3G reception was poor when using a USB dongle. I also wanted it so I could connect other devices.
I had a bit of trouble at first getting it to work as I did not realize I needed to set the APN settings to work with Vodafone UK. Anyway one quick google later (APN Vodafone) and there was the link detailing what I needed to set them to on twayf.com blog. Thanks for the great information.
After that it worked great! The reception is about two bars more than the USB dongle and iPhone. The battery life is about four to five hours. What a good thing if the price for e583c would be lower. On the whole, the price on twayf shop is the lowest online after I did a lot searches on Google.

Agree with previous positive comments. Its a really useful mifi router with excellent connectivity without the need to install anything. Mine is locked to 3 but no complaints about reception or charges. No hesitation in recommending it.

This hotspot router bridges the gap and sends the mobile 3g connection over wifi. Unlike plug-in dongles there is no need to worry about USB drivers so any wifi device should work with it, including the iPad and Linux netbooks. It can be shared with 5 wifi devices with wifi encryption protocols. I won't be travelling without it.
