With tiny design and high speed, Huawei E220 USB Modem redefines mini fashion for the elite. It is a brand new in box E220 HSDPA 3.6MBPS modem. It is unlocked, and can work with any 3G network , including MTN, Vodacom, Cell C and Virgin, and any other 3G or HSDPA network worldwide. The Huawei E220 USB modem delivers an access rate up to 3.6Mbps on the HSDPA, or 384kbps on the UMTS, or 236.8kbps on the EDGE, or 85.6kbps on the GPRS network. At the same time, it supports short message services.
The installation technique employed in Huawei E220 mobile broadband dongle is Plug-n-Go. That is, you can insert your 3G SIM card into the modem, plug the dongle into the USB port of the laptop/desktop and start accessing internet. When you plug the dongle for the first time, a software installation has to be done. The installation wizard will guide you through this process.

Been using Huawei E220 for several days, I could say that this modem does its function quite well. The connection is stable. No issue related to hardware.
